For publishers, labels and editorial teams
Licensing
I license usage rights to existing works and take on commissioned illustration for publishers, labels and editorial teams. The work is watercolour on paper, digitised at high resolution. Print-ready files are supplied.
Areas of application
- Book covers — fantasy, romantasy, literary fiction
- Album covers and music artwork
- Editorial illustration
- Tarot and oracle cards
- Stationery and product licences
Usage rights
Fees are based on the scope of the licence: territory, duration, purpose of use and exclusivity. A worldwide, multi-year cover licence is calculated differently from a single interior use.
The creation fee and the usage rights are listed separately. For existing works no creation fee applies. I prepare quotes after a short description of the project.
Portfolio
A selection. Further works and print-ready views on request.

I send the full portfolio with resolutions and further motifs by email on request.
How a collaboration works
1 — Enquiry
Project, intended use, territory, timeframe and budget range in a few sentences.
2 — Quote
Within a few days, listing the creation fee and the licence separately.
3 — Sketch
Two draft directions, then one round of revisions on the chosen direction.
4 — Delivery
Watercolour original, digitised at 600 dpi, delivered as TIFF and CMYK PDF for print.
Files and formats
Every work is painted in watercolour and digitised at 600 dpi. For book covers, bleed, spine and back cover can be supplied as an open file, as can square crops for music releases.
Timeframe
Licences for existing works are usually settled within a week. A new cover illustration takes six to ten weeks depending on scope. Please mention tighter deadlines in your enquiry.
Fees depend on type of use, print run, territory and duration, and are stated in the quote.
Enquiry
A short description is enough: project, intended use, territory and timeframe.
I am not accepting private commissioned portraits at this time.
